ERR-36895 tried calling COMCAST, three days got nowhere

This is getting ridiculous, I have this package with includes video on demand, and I assume the HBOgo is part of the service, as I was told when I renew my contract with comcast. I was told many times that HBOgo "should" be ready the next day. So the next day I try this service by going to www.hbogo.com select my provider, and enter my username and password. Long and behold "We're sorry. We cannot process your order at this time. A subscription is required to view this program. Please call 1-800-COMCAST for assistance. Ref code ERR-36895 when calling." This is where the fun begin, for three days, I called that number, tried every department, they all redirects me to a different department, so in the end I still have this problem. No help. If what I currently subscribe to does not contain this service, just say it. But I've been told my multiple representative that I should able to receive this service, yet when I ask them why it doesn't work, they have no idea. So comcast, can you kindly fix this problem that shouldn't exist in the first place? Thanks

SOUND QUITS ON DEMAND

Watching programs in the “Get Local” section of ON DEMAND, I have tried today to watch a “Nature” program (PBS) and after about 18 minutes the sound stops completely. This recently happened also when trying to watch an episode of “Doc Martin.” Problem is present on both cable boxes connected to different HDTV’s. Suspect a faulty DVR in the system somewhere. Anyone doing any quality assurance for ON DEMAND?

Went to On Demand tonight to start watching Game of Thrones Season 4.  Where is Episode 1?  I see 2 and 3 listed, and listed as new - but no 1.  What gives?  I've really been looking forward to watching.

No HBO Go Support from Comcast on PS3

HBO Go is an exceptional service that has extended its offerings to PS3 owners.  There are a plethora of cable companies (small, mid-sized, and large) who support the use of HBO Go through the PS3.  Unfortunately, Comcast is not among these companies.  There is absolutely no reason why Comcast should be withholding this service from its customers.  If the numerous other cable companies have immediately extended the HBO service to their PS3 customers, how does it make any sense that Comcast has not also done so?  It has been weeks, and this service is still unavailable.  Most likely, there are certain back-door dealings and incentives that have prompted Comcast to withhold this service to PS3 users.  What Comcast has seemingly forgotten is that the customer is supposed to come first.  Their lack of support for the HBO Go service is simply unacceptable and represents the problems that can arise when cable companies grow too large to the point that they feel they can neglect their customers.  Please correct this problem Comcast, sooner rather than later.  Thank you.

Why is HBOGo not available yet other channels are? Since I subscribe to Comcast and HBO why isn't this available for Roku or other TV streaming options?

On Demand exits completely

The new on demand is here and it stinks.  If you go into the network to see a particular show and realize you already saw it, there is no way to stay in network view.  You exit completely out of on demand and then have to go through the process of entering it again.  I liked it better when you could just exit back to the network to view other shows.  So now it is one and done.  Definitely do not like this new change.  Does anyone know a work around?

When selecting the 4/24/14 episode to view, you instead get the 4/23/14 episode. The 4/24 episode does not seem to be available.

On Demand Commercials - A Desperate Plea

I sent the below feedback to NBC:

So, I totally understand that for current broadcast programming available on demand, fast-forward is disabled and there are periodic ads.

I get that and don't have a problem with it. I do, however, have a problem with the fact that I decided today to catch up on the second half of the current season of Parks and Recreation and have had to endure the same commercial repeated ten to fifteen times. Multiple times per episode, every episode. Know what product that commercial is for?

ELIQUIS. A drug for older people who suffer from atrial fibrillation. I am 37 years old, and this is something I don't need to know nor do I want to know. I certainly don't want to hear it fifteen times (or more!). They say "bleeding" in that commercial seven times. I've counted.

I just want to remind you that people do binge watch sometimes, particularly those of us who are usually busy. I am an Xfinity subscriber and I like to focus on one series at a time. This advertising policy is really ill-advised because it's too much, to the wrong audience, and essentially accomplishes the exact opposite of the goals of any campaign.

To this day, there is a Chase Sapphire commercial featuring Chef Nobu Matsuhisa eating barbecue that makes me shudder every time I see it because it played literally a thousand times while I caught up on Mad Men. I'm not exaggerating.

Different network obviously, but this advertising policy is creating very negative memories in the minds of viewers, and that's putting it very, very mildly.

Thank you, please help!

Two weeks on a row, we select a movie and I get a "not supported mode" message on my tv. I have noticed some on-demand movies now read " now in 1080p where available." We'll I have a 1080i tv, so I'm guessing I'm going to be forced to either get a new tv or a new provider.

Have had nothing, a black screen with the same message for four days. Calls to Comcast with the same ridiculous voice message. there has been an outage in your area and we are working on it. Your service will be restored by a certein time, which has been constantly delayed...............for 4 days now.

Time for Tinley Park,Illinois to look into other service providers. Bigger isn't always better. Case in oint..............Comcast Cable. Bigger than ever, but the absolute worst when it comes to service.

A credit should be issued to every subscriber affected without their asking. Comcast knows who was affected and a billing adjustment should be automatic. As auotmatic as Comcast is quick to bill  subscribers.

The movie "sucker punch" is listed on stream pix. Both on demand and on the website. Either the image online or the actual movie playing is wrong

Five days now with no service, and constantly being told they are working on it and it will be rectified by such anh a time. Each time i check the time of restored service is pushed ahead. It's been pushed for 5 days now and no answers. .Comcast = Lousy Service and apparently non-qualified technicians.

8012".  Yesterday, Comcast said the issue would be resolved by 11pm last night.  Still not working as of 3pm today.  Just called comcast and they say they are reporting outtages in my area and that they are being worked on.  now, should be resolved by 4pm.

How is it possible that I can watch my cable TV channels fine, but there's an outtage on On Demand?

On Demand loading HD episodes in error in the SD section - no way to report the error

I watch and subscribe to SD service. Several times now on On Demand, Xfinity has loaded HD episodes of shows that offer both SD and HD mistakenly in the SD section and I get an error message when trying to view it. (Sometimes I can get around this by looking for the SD episode in another section [ie: by network, alpha, top weekly, etc] where the correct format has been entered in the correct section) This week they incorrectly loaded episode Da Vinci's Demons season 2 episode 206 (once again loading an HD episode in the SD section so that I can not watch it). I am paying extra for the Starz service just so I can watch this series. I called Xfinity customer service and got someone (Shedieque? she wouldn't spell it correctly for me) who seemed brain dead who just kept repeating robot-like to me that Xfinity can't help it if the networks won't make the show SD.  I repeatedly tried to explain to her that this particular show WAS ALREADY SD ... AND HAD BEEN SD FOR ALL THE FIRST SEASON AND 5 EPISODES OF THE 2ND SEASON. THEY DID NOT JUST CHOSE TO GO HD ONLY.  THE EPISODE 206 IS LISTED UNDER SD NOT HD, ALONG WITH ALL THE REST OF THE SEASON 2 SD EPISODES. IT IS AN ERROR BY THE PERSON WHO UPLOADED THE INCORRECT EPISODE TYPE IN THE ON DEMAND SCREEN. It is NOT, as the Xfinity customer service person said, an issue of the Network not choosing to make the show in SD.

Why does Comcast Xfinity not have a way to report these errors to get them corrected?  I have had Comcast for years and have only recently begun running into this type of error. Better quality control may be needed for whoever posts the On Demand screen?  Or at least a way of reporting this type of error to your customer service to pass on and get resolved?  The answer I was getting had nothing to do with the problem I was spelling out to the customer service rep.
